I am Camilla Monk, Director and owner of ARCHITECTURE:Ventures...

I am a fully qualified Architect specialising in domestic renovations, remodelling projects and extensions. I have a huge passion for older buildings and pride myself on creating beautiful, inspiring spaces that really work for their occupants. I believe in flooding houses with natural light, seeing existing obstacles as opportunities to create innovate features and design with reuse, repurposing and artistry in-mind.

I support local crafts people, small local businesses and services as much as I can and create fantastic spaces with a 'non-build' approach explored first to make sure every inch of space you already have is being used to its full potential before any new ground is broken.

Every project is tackled from a holistic 'whole building' approach and any additions are designed to ensure that the flow of the spaces is maximised.

I work from the concept stage right through to the completion of the build and love to create interiors that compliment the Architecture that is created with built-in storage solutions, colour pallet advice and furniture and fixtures/fittings sourced on request. A network of talented technical and design based colleagues can be brought on-board to provide input where necessary and I embrace the 'hand-holding' service that is so vital to the success of every domestic project.
